SUPERkiiz Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Hi. I'm currently drawing some projects for a contractor, and he doesn't use ACAD, and has required PDF files of the drawings, but I cant seem to get the scale to be correct when I convert/print PDF files. Im having some problems when converting my acad drawing to PDF, and when I print out the PDF file. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong, and could anyone give me some pointers/hints on how to successfully convert my acad drawings to some sort of "picture-file" that can be printed so I achieve correct scale? I know it might be asking alot, but its really a hurry now, as I am on a deadline that runs out thursday 03.03.2011!! I can be reached at dj_kiiz@yahoo.com Quote
tzframpton Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 When you print a PDF from Adobe Reader, make sure the Scale is set to "None". If not Adobe Reader will scale down the entire PDF to fit the margins of the printer. If the Viewport is scaled in AutoCAD and you create a PDF, then it will be scaled correctly unless you have a setting off in the Plot Settings. Quote
