reyems Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Is there a logical way to use a Title Block and border page that I created for use on an ANSI size A page to create an ANSI B, C, D? Scaling seems to work in one direction (x or y) but not both. Stretching doesn't solve my text in the Title Block from appearing too small when I create a D size. Thanks for any insight you can provide! Quote
ReMark Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Using the INSERT command to bring the ANSI A size title block and border into a larger sheet size give you the option to specify a different scale factor for the X and the Y directions. Quote
reyems Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 OK, now I feel stupid, but of course!!! And once I make sure the uniform scale in unchecked, I can type in the scale I need. Is there a way to scale objects in model space where the scale is not uniform or is this option only available through insert? By the way thank you ReMark! Quote
ReMark Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 There are a couple of lisp routines that allow the user to specify different X/Y scales. If you look around here you'll probably run across them. I may have even posted one of them that I found. Just be aware that when you scale this way you may either get some odd results like text that won't be a standard height. You're entirely welcomed reyems. Quote

Yes, simply highlight the object and head to the properties palette. You can change the x/y scales there. Just a heads up though, once you do that, you cannot refedit that instance of the block, and it's been hit or miss for me as to whether or not they will explode. Quote
