SamanthaA Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I don't know how to make a bowl type shape, like with straight edges then it's rounded at the top and hollow on the inside... Help me please?(: Quote
JD Mather Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Revolve. And next time you might come up with a more descriptive title. Help does not help anyone searching for a solution in the future. Attach what you have completed so far if you can't figure it out. You might start by going through the built in tutorials and read this. http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/skillsusa%20university.pdf Quote
Lazer Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Hello Samantha welcome to the forum, I have changes the title of this post, can you please not title posts with the word 'HELP' as others who search for this answer may not find it. Thank you. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Hi Samantha. Here's how I would do it: First, draw the shape of the bowl in cross section only as far as the center line. This can be any shape you want as long as it doesn't intersect itself. Then use the revolve command like JD said above, and you'll get something like this: Quote
