bjenk8100 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Hello, I like to practice 3d when i dont have much to do and am pretty poor at it so bear w/ me. I am drawing a pyramid in a similar fasion to the way the egyptions built them. I made a 3d box and then 3d array 10x10 (rowsxcolumns). Next I want to put boxes on top of them but a little closer inside from the edge and continue to do this till a pyramid like shape. Now my problem is i copy one of the boxes and paste. It prompts me for insertion point. I set my ucs at first box and type 6,6 for insertion point which would be 6" to right and 6" up. Now all is good minus the insertion is from inside the middle of the box. So to get it 6" up I have to add half the height of the box. Is there a way to define a reference point before an insertion point? Quote
ReMark Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I think the concept you are referring to is FILTERS. It's been a while so I can't claim 100% certainty. Quote
