gortex Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 When we stretch a wall with hatch say, on the floor, how can I get the hatch to stretch with the wall?!?!?! TIA Quote
profcad Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 When you hatch, click the Associative hatch checkbox. It should stretch with the walls. If it was hatched as unassociative hatch , then you are out of luck. John Quote
dbroada Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 and even when it is associated I find it doesn't always go. a times like that I just keep reminding myself how bad the hatching used to be. Quote
a_differently abled_draft Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 ensure that associate hatch is on & then use STRETCH command AT GRIPS Quote
craigj Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Bringing back a topic from the dead, but I had a similar problem with CAD '09. I selected the associate but the hatching still would not stretch with my wall. I played around with it and selected the "create separate hatches" under the associate and the stretching worked fine.
