I am having a problem when adding dimensions to my drawings.

The problem is when adding either radius dimension or diameter dimension. When adding dimensions to circles the dimension line goes right through the middle of the circle rather than just touching the edge.

Can someone please advise how I change this?

Many thanks.

Uncheck "Draw dim line between Ext lines" on the fit tab of your Dimension Style

If you don't want to change that option for linear dimensions, create a child dimension style for Radius and Diameter dimensions and make the changes only to those.

When you are dimensioning a circle are you picking the center point? What about a quadrant?

Thanks very much, unchecking has solved the problem!
