Can anyone tell me why the revolve fucnction wont work on this part... it starts the preview then disappears....

Is it to do with the profile shape? how can i get it to possible follow the geometry on the pipe? hmm i only want to represent the join of the pipes.... but there is no need for me to model it as a multi body part.

any help would be great.

please find attached ipt

I don't understand why you need any work axis, any duplicated workplanes or any duplicated sketches? Looks to me like wayyy too much work?

Also, these two gores (highlighted red) don't match the two center gores - makes it all more expensive. (doesn't even match your sketch) Is this what is intended?

initially i did it as a loft hence the multiple sketches and planes but then decided to do a sweep.

so technically i can get rid of them now to achieve the same shape. i just wanted a piece to show the join between each tubular section which will follow the path where each section joins.

No it isnt. Thanks for pointing that out! didn't notice it! although its more a visual representation and its not being manufactured so not an overly massive issue.

Although if you don't mind could you tell me how to get them to be equal??

Give me a minute to work something up.

Maybe something like this is what you are after? Doesn't match the picture exactly - but working from this I think you can get what you are after. (Pull down the EOP).

After posting I realized this could be simplified a bit more, but I have to get back to real job.
