So I have this problem that has just started occurring.

Whenever I try to insert a block with attributes, the text comes in backwards/upside down... I've tried attedit, battman, mirror, properties, attsync, regen and torient. None of them work.

I've inserted blocks into drawings in the past with no problems, using the same template and workspace... but now they all insert like this:

HELP!!!!

Can you upload the block so we can take a look at it?

Could your UCS be different from your view?

DRAWING TITLE.dwg

That's the block. Like I've said, I've used in recently with no problems.

I tried setting the UCS to world, and it still inserts the same way...

Check your 3D views, insert correctly here.

I get the similar results as you with Bottom View.

The strangeness continues...

If i set my 3d view to top, it inserts the same way as if my view is set to bottom.

It also inserts the same way when i'm in pspace. (ie: no 3d views available)

If I open a new file, and paste the block, it works just fine. But if I paste elements from the original drawing to the new one before the block, it inserts wonky again!

wtf?

Have you tried running an audit on the wonky file?

Just did... AUDIT fixed 31 errors. Apparently that wasn't one of them.

It still seems it is file related. You should move all visible entities to a new DWG file and start over. Try moving a few at a time until the problem is isolated.

In the process of doing that now.

Thanks for all your help though.

When I type 'UCS' at the command prompt then 'X' then 180 and then insert your block it looks like your wonky one. When the UCS is set to world and I insert your block it comes in properly. I did a couple of inserts with the UCS at different 'X' rotations and that is what makes it appear different. 'X' at 90 makes it a flat line, so I'm pretty sure that SLW210 is correct. Is there a lisp routine running that is possibly changing your UCS?

Sorry about the timing on my last post - got distracted by work!
