Aloha Cad World,

My question is?

I think I have erased my template folder.

So setting up new drawing has been a problem.

Does anyone have advise on this situation?

Can I load a new template folder?

Anyone with help would be great!!

If you have a drawing you want to use for a template, just save as .dwt in a folder in your Support File Search Path, go to _OPTIONS>FILES>TEMPLATE SETTINGS>DEFAULT TEMPLATE FILE NAME FOR QNEW and Browse the path to the file.

Run a repair on AutoCAD to reload the default Template Folder.

You do not have to create a new template folder. Just put your new templates in AutoCAD's default template folder. Also look into the use of the QNew command.

Go to the recycle bin and recover your folder and files.
