SLW210 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 If you have a drawing you want to use for a template, just save as .dwt in a folder in your Support File Search Path, go to _OPTIONS>FILES>TEMPLATE SETTINGS>DEFAULT TEMPLATE FILE NAME FOR QNEW and Browse the path to the file. Run a repair on AutoCAD to reload the default Template Folder. Quote
ReMark Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 You do not have to create a new template folder. Just put your new templates in AutoCAD's default template folder. Also look into the use of the QNew command. Quote

SLW210 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Go to the recycle bin and recover your folder and files. You do not have to create a new template folder. Just put your new templates in AutoCAD's default template folder. Also look into the use of the QNew command. Pretty sure that is the one he deleted. Quote
