ReMark Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Are you in model space or a paper space layout? Quote
tzframpton Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Modelspace viewports cannot be adjusted. You can get creative and find a happy medium. For instance, type -VPORTS at the command line and create three vertical Viewports. Initiate the command again and use the Join subsequent command to combine two adjacent Viewports together, giving you 66% drawing area in one, and 33% drawing area in the other. Hope this helps. blackeagle1245 Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 yes I did that already by doing it 4 viewports-right and by using join command but still sometimes it is too smal sometimes too big. It is very interesting thing that we cant change it. Quote

When I got into Rhino3D for awhile, I loved the fact you can adjust the viewports to your liking. I believe 3DSMax is the same. It would benefit plenty of people to have that same freedom in AutoCAD.
