grjames Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Hi, my old installation of ACAD 2002 used absolute coordinates for the move command as the default. For example, i select all my objects, click say the corner of something, and then type in the coordinates and it could move that corner to that exact location. In my new installation of 2011 LT, that methodology treats the coordinates as relative. How can i make the move command default back to absolute coordinates? Thanks, George Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Its the "dynpicoords" system variable. If set to zero, it's relative, setting it to 1 makes it absolute. Quote
grjames Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 that was it Jack! thank you. Never would have found that on my own. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 You're welcome! Had to dig through that myself when I upgraded to 2010 some time back. Quote
