Hopinc Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Hi Guys, Does anyone know of a full removal tool for Inventor 2012? I need a complete clean up and reinstall . A search on the Autodesk web site and internet has revealed nothing so far. I could hack the registry, but I would rather have the right tool to do the job automatically. Regards, Dave Quote
ReMark Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 You looking for this? http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=13187758&linkID=9242018 oops...wrong version. Looks like 2012 is so new AutoDesk doesn't have instructions written up for uninstalling yet. Maybe the process is the same as for the previous release? Quote
Hopinc Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 I think that is unlikely. Thanks for trying though. Regards, Dave Quote

Hopinc Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 Thanks for your input JD - unfortunately the registry repair tool you suggest using does not work with Windows XP x64. Regards, Dave Quote

SLW210 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Thanks for your input JD - unfortunately the registry repair tool you suggest using does not work with Windows XP x64. Regards, Dave Try CCLEANER it has a program removal and registry cleaner I have had some success completely removing programs with it (worth a try). Well I got one of the two links as JDM. I'm batting 500. That's way better than the Red Sox! LOL You link was to 2010, mine was to 2011 instructions. And even so your batting average is still better than the Red Sox... Quote
czc Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Try revo uninstaller - it removes those stubborn bits of programs. http://www.revouninstaller.com/ Quote
