_GerG_ Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 So I'm trying to understand how stb works. I'm trying to use autocad architecture in making my new project but I don't understand how the line weights will work. Is it by object? Any help would be great, thanks. Quote
rkent Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 You can assign lw by object but I would instead either go bylayer and set the lw in the stb or set the lw per layer in the layer manager. You will need to quickly establish plot style names to use in any STB files you create. That way when you assign different stb files the names will be the same while allowing you to plot different colors, lw, etc. Quote
_GerG_ Posted April 9, 2011 Author Posted April 9, 2011 Oh alright. See I'm planning on making it a 3d model so I can make sections/plans quicker. But since they will still be 2d I can use my original ctb file. I read somewhere that stb were for 3d models as well so when you cut into the object it would read the depth of the object kind of how revit does. Quote
