I want to know why the line length shown by the Quick Properties window does not coincide with the quota size. To calculate the lengths of arcs, lines, polylines tlen.lsp selected using an order made on the net and I calculated wrong ( the size of the Quick Properties ). I deleted the line and I drew it again and same problem occurs. Attach a capture.

That is a very interesting problem. Type in "list" and pick your line...I bet you find that it's z-axis coordinates are off.

I agree. Remember AutoCad is not only 2D, but 3D also. The length it gives will be that of the 3d line, not the 2D representation.

Exactly this was the problem. One end of the line have nonzero z coordinate. Thanks very much for your help!

That is why I do not use Quick Properties. Just use Properties and it will show the z values. Yes, I know you can add all of that info to quick properties (just hit the customize button while in Quick properties and select what to display), whats the point if Properties already has all the info.

You can customize Quick Properties to show the Z values as well.

I like modifying quick properties to show what I want then I don't have properties bar open so I can have the whole screen clear for the drawing as I only have a titchy 19" screen (although most of my colleagues have to make do with 17" screens.)
