What happens if you do a 3D sketch and you select the option to create a spline from the imported xls points. What version of Inventor were the screen captures you posted from? 2010 should allow you to import the xls points into a 2D sketch (x and y) or into a 3D sketch (x, y, z). No add-in needed. Quote
