bugout69 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Please can someone also help me with an .shx file how do you incorporate that with your drawing so the end user on another PC gets the line-types it contains. Many thanks in advance.:oops: Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 In the "file" menu, down a little less than half way you'll find "e-transmit". When you click on that, it will prompt you to save the file, then it will open a dialog box called "create transmittal". That will show you everything it has so far, and you can click on the "add file" button to include any other files you wish to send. Hit ok and it will go to work. Etransmit then creates a zipped folder with all the files you had listed, which you can then send to any one you wish. There is a help button in the lower right corner of the dialog box that will explain it all if you need more info. edit--i should add that it doesn't have to be just autocad files either. you can include any file on your computer. great way to send time sheets or word documents along with the drawing files in the same zipped folder. Organic Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 It doesn't incorporate it into the drawing though, it just sends a copy of it along with the drawing to the intended recipient so they have access to it. Quote
