Burtzlaff Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I am doing around 25 cross-sections of a road in civil 3d 2007. I can't find a way to manually set the max and minimum elevations i would like to show. Currently I have only been able to set the number of grids to appear beneath the lowest point in each cross-section. Is there a way to override this manually like you can do with profiles? I'm stumped and it would seem ridiculous that there is no answer. thanks. Quote
BOB'27T Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Right click on the section, then select section view properties. Pick the elevations tab, then change it to user specified elevations. I hope this will help! Quote
Burtzlaff Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 there's no 'elevation tab' here's the tabs in order... information, graph data, sections, bands, pgl Quote
BOB'27T Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 That's weird. Mine is between graph and sections. It seems like your tab is missing for some reason. I'll do some more checking into this for you. Quote
Burtzlaff Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 yeah it certainly feels like something is missing Quote
BOB'27T Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Try going into "Create Section View". Then go to "elevation range". You can change the elevation heights there. Quote
