barrowfordred
Solidworks 2008 : Is it possible to insert a lamp in a model and have directional light that always shines out of it (as it would from a real lamp) no matter where you move the lamp to? I can add light to a model but not as above. Thanks
Quagga
Not sure if you can. on another note are you a communist living in Barrowford? or just a redhead?
shift1313
go to View>Lights and Cameras>Add Direction Light(or spot light). In the Light position section there will be a "lock to model" option. I only used SW08 for about a month but i believe this is still there as long as you have the photo rendering Add-in turned on.
barrowfordred
Tried this, it's locks the light to the assembly position not to a part in the model. Thanks anyway. go to View>Lights and Cameras>Add Direction Light(or spot light). In the Light position section there will be a "lock to model" option.
