Fallguy Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Is their a way to create a line only visible in autocad but one that will not print. I want to confine some bhatch within a particular area but do not want the boundry of the shape to be seen, i.e, an invisible line that does not print would do the trick. Or is their a way to keep the hatch contained if I delete the boundary shape? Quote
lpseifert Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Put the boundary on Defpoints layer (not necessarily recommended) or on a 'no plot' layer You can delete the boundary, if the hatch is associative, Acad will notify you that the associativity has been removed Quote
Fallguy Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 Thanks, for the help. I run a customized version of autocad that brings in most of the layers automatically or I just do match layer to change when needed. Played in layers and have seen where you can turn printer on/off. Deleted border and at least for now the bhatch did not run amuck all over the page. Quote
