Question regarding microsoft excel and a .pdf file

I want to create an exel document with all the commands , abbreviations and their use as well as insert a link to where more info can be found on each command in my .pdf bible, is this possible?

 

I tried to insert a link, but it seems to only take me as far as the .pdf file, without opening it. If possible, I would like the link to go directly to the page where the info on the command can be found.
