dagwood Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I'm new to this forum and I thought it would be a good idea to join and ask this questions that has been bugging me for some time now. I'm running AutoCad 2004. When I'm trying to draw a line I begin with the line command, then I click on the screen with the mouse to start the line. Then at the command prompt I type We have 2 other cad stations at my company and they are not experiencing what my AutoCad is doing. Can anyone help? Quote
rkent Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 That is how it should work, If drawing isometrics then set snap, Style, Isometric. Quote
dagwood Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 I should not have to use the polar set to 30 to make it stay. With the other stations you can set the angle with the command prompt and click anywhere on the screen and the line stays at 30 degrees. However when I click on the screen the line moves to where I click and the changes the angle of the line. The angle override does not work on my machine. Quote
dagwood Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 Well I just found out what the problem was. I was using AutoCad Mechanical and not standard AutoCad. When I opened the standard AutoCad the mouse click on the screen does not override the Angle override. I have AutoCad, AutoCad Mechanical and AutoCad Mechanical Desktop. The AutoCad Mechanical Desktop does not override the angle override either. Now I'm confused! Quote
