ctt
Hi guys, Is this possible in any way? I need to hatch an area over an x-refed image and needs to be in colour and transparent. Thanks
SLW210
AutoCAD 2011 has transparency for hatches, I am pretty sure AutoCAD 2010 does as well. Do you not have transparency at lower right of Hatch editor? Send the image the the back and the hatch to the front.
ctt
Yeah i know 2011 does but i was hoping 2010 did to. No, nothing there.
ccowgill
what we did prior to 2011 was to use a dot hatch, that would give the illusion of being transparent.
Murph_map
what we did prior to 2011 was to use a dot hatch, that would give the illusion of being transparent. Or use AutoCAD MAP3D and FDO.
designerstuart
yes coloured dots do the trick for those of us way back in 2009! spacing is your way to control transparency.
