Removing material in an .asm

Hey guys,

 

I have an assembly where i have produced a hooked type tube for a handle, what i want to do is enter both of these into the asm and then remove one from the other leaving me with two correspond parts.

 

How can i do this in inventor?

basically using the boolean technique

Edit in the context of the assembly and Copy Object as surface body for Split or Sculpt.
