Proctor Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Hello: When setting up users to use Autocad (version 09), I'd like to set their user environments to all be identical. I read that you could export a profile under Tools-Options-Profiles and save as an .arg file and then import the profile for other users. I've played around with it a bit and it does seem to work; however, when i import the profile, then set it as the current profile and it all looks good till I close and re-open cad; at which time, I notice that it's not set to the current default profile. How can I set my imported profile as the current default profile? thanks, Proctor Quote
BIGAL Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 You need to edit your desktop icon to match the profile, in the icon properties look at the /p bit. D:\Autocad2011\acad.exe /ld "D:\Autocad2011\AecBase.dbx" /p "myprofile" Quote
