blackeagle1245 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Is there anyway to specify pipe preferences?. I mean for example I'll connect 25mm Pipe to 25 pipe then I want it to use Tee, but if its 25-40 then normal takeoff. How can I specify this?. Thanks in advance Quote
tzframpton Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I've tried going into PIPEPREFDEF and adding a "size range" but that never seemed to function properly. I just swap the "Branch Fitting" under the Routing Options in the Properties palette when I create a pipe run. It would be nice for the takeoff or tee would dynamically change with the varying range of pipe sizes but I don't believe it's possible, though I've been wrong before so might want to keep digging in. blackeagle1245 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 I have also searched but never seen such a thing or a way. It shouldnt be so difficult but still there is nothing to specify for it. I guess the only option try to write a lisp. maybe it could work. Quote
tzframpton Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I don't think LISP controls the MEP stuff. I would guess it is .NET since the Swamp.org guys only talk about it when they program for the verticals. Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 I'm very new about lisp stuff I just know the name and using it havent started to write it on my own but willing to learn. So Why do the lisp or vba doesnt work for mep ?what is the difference between lisp and .net? Quote
tzframpton Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 You'll have to ask that question in the proper forum. I am the last person to be commenting on LISP, VBA, .NET, or any customization for that matter. Ask over here: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?69-.NET-ObjectARX-amp-VBA Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 I wrote it here cause I thought there may be an option in mep without need to write a lisp or such a thing. Quote
