Multileader style with block behaves strange in layout space.

Multileader style with block views strange in layout space but prints fine.

 

Here's the thing i have a standard block nothing strange about it besides it uses 255,255,255 as a background mask now in layout space this views fine even when its in an xref, (see picture below) but the same block in the same file as a multileader style views differently ..

 

Just wondered if anybody might have a reason why.

The block is all on layer 0 beside the background mask, both are also placed on the same layer.

P.S. how do i delete an attachment !! can seem to see the code when i edit & i can see no option to remove in the image manager ?
