designerstuart Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 when you select them look at properties - does it say it is an attribute? could it be a block or an xref? when you say it doesn't explode or burst, what happens? do you get an error message? maybe post a part of the file if you can. this would help. qball Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 In Block Editor - Properties - Block section - Allow Exploding = Yes or No? Quote

mateen Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 qball................... its not a block........... Quote
qball Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 How is an attribute not part of a block? Isn't that the only purpose of Attributes? Otherwise it's just text. Quote
designerstuart Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 so when you say it won't explode, what happens? is it just an attribute with no block attached? if so, what will be the benefit of exploding it? Quote
tzframpton Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 If it's just an attribute that's not associated in a block, then it's simply a floating attribute definition that SHOULD be housed in a block but isn't. So, the "text" is basically useless. Quote
mateen Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 ok next day i will try to publish that attributes drawing? Quote
tzframpton Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 An attribute not used in a block will not plot. Quote

So, the "text" is basically useless. If that is the case, you either have to recreate all the attributes as text. Or convert them all to a Block, then Burst. An attribute not used in a block will not plot. Interesting. I did not know that. Quote
SLW210 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Why do you need to explode or burst? Just right-click and select properties, at the top of the Properties Box it will show what type of object is selected. If it is text, use text explode from Express Tools _TXTEXP on the command line. Quote
