Malea Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I'm using Autocad LT 2012 and ortho is only working vertical. Circles appear as straight lines and arcs won't draw at all. I have no idea what's going on. If I copy an object or text from another drawing, it pastes as a straight line. I also can't rotate anything except vertically. Any ideas?? Quote
Malea Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 THANK YOU! I reset the UCS to view and bingo! I must've somehow accidentally changed it in the middle of drawing somehow but I have no idea what I did. This happened the other day in a different drawing and I was so frustrated. Quote
BIGAL Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Do UCS W PLAN this will reset the drawing plane to the default setting of flat and Z vertical in real world co-ordinates. Just doing PLAN will set the drawing plane to the current ucs and you may have problems later on if half the drawing is on one plane v's another. Setting ucs to 3d objects can do weird things when you measure in another UCS. Quote
