Hi so i`m relativly new to AutoCAD and i got a project for Thursday its not something hard just to do some lines but there are alot of them, so my question is if there is a command or option to make the polylines between two points in a curve smooth. I added a picture for reference

The red line is the problem, this will cut alot of my work time. Thx

Use the FILLET command and set your radius (aka "curve") to whatever you want. Use the "P" option before you select the Polyline and it will set that radius to all vertexes of the Polyline.

Alternatively, look into using the SPLINE command.

Stykface thank you very much the SPLINE command worked like a charm this will cut my work in half.

No problem.

Another method, is while you're using the POLYLINE tool, type A for Arc. That works good too. SPLINE is all you'll ever need to use but sometimes an arc'ed Polyline comes in handy too.

I would have thought that the Fit option in Pedit would have done the job here.

The project looks like tracing over contours, and with the Fit option of Pedit, the curve stays at the pick points. If the curve bulges in a contrary way, then insert a few more vertexes. When using the Spline option, the curve does not pass through the vertices.

I would always draw with short straight lines and use the curve fitting afterwards. Trying to draw arcs as you go along can be a real headache.

Eldon, nice tip sir. Never used that option. That works much like the bezier curve tool in image applications.
