yosisays Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Is it possible to join two separate solid objects (closed polysurfaces). I have a fairly strait forward flat plate (box) like solid and a second similar solid with the same thickness which has been twisted 90 degrees like a twizzler running alongside the first solid. the twisted object begins flush with the side of the flat one and gradually twists away until it is at a 90 degree angle from the box at which point it is only touching the adjacent box at one corner. imagine ,if you will, as i bend the object it cracks away from being flush with the box. what I wish to do is in this position, fill in this gap that opens up wide on one side and is closed at the other by some kind of fillet ,join, merge, connect command. i have tried all of the above with no success. any direction you can provide will be greatly appreciated. dedmin Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 First explode the polysurfaces and then use the blend surface to join them Quote
