Selecting on an angle.

Is there a way to select things on an angle? The default selection tool is a rectangular shape, I need something linear that I can draw. Like draw a line through several elements and everything that line touches it selects.

Yep. After you initiate the command (eg. Move, Copy, Mirror, etc), before selecting anything, type F to use the Fencing selection option.

In fact, when you type "?" at the command line after initiating a command, it provides extra selection tools. The Fencing option might note be exactly what you're after, so try all the selection options. See below:

Command: MOVE

Select objects: ?

Window/Last/Crossing/BOX/ALL/Fence/WPolygon/CPolygon/Group/Add/Remove/Multiple/P
revious/Undo/AUto/SIngle/SUbobject/Object
