Hello everyone,

I have downladed an item that can only be opened in sketchup. It seems that i need a payied copy of sketchup to open it and i don't have one.

If i upload it can anyone who has sketchup export it to 3dmx ?? please

I need it in 3dmax format to use it for my project.

Thank you :)

i don't mind doing this if the mods don't think it is inappropriate. upload the file and i'll have a look anyway.

also, what version do you have because i think there is a ruby for some earlier versions of sketchup for exporting other file types.

Why would it be inappropriate?

i don't know, maybe it might be seen as CADTutor endorsing cheeky work-arounds, like the edu-stamp thing. just wanted to check before i waded in....

No problem. The models in the Sketchup Warehouse are free, so it's not like you're doing anything wrong. And, the newer versions of Max actually have an import option for Sketchup models, so you can bring them in directly from the Warehouse without having to go through Sketchup to export them.
