Andreea Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Hello everyone, I have downladed an item that can only be opened in sketchup. It seems that i need a payied copy of sketchup to open it and i don't have one. If i upload it can anyone who has sketchup export it to 3dmx ?? please I need it in 3dmax format to use it for my project. Thank you Quote
designerstuart Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 i don't mind doing this if the mods don't think it is inappropriate. upload the file and i'll have a look anyway. Quote
designerstuart Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 also, what version do you have because i think there is a ruby for some earlier versions of sketchup for exporting other file types. Quote

No problem. The models in the Sketchup Warehouse are free, so it's not like you're doing anything wrong. And, the newer versions of Max actually have an import option for Sketchup models, so you can bring them in directly from the Warehouse without having to go through Sketchup to export them. Quote
