shift1313 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I am by no means a render/lighting expert here so i really cant help but i do want to mention something about your materials. I think you need to tweak them a bit. Were the white lines part of your material or did you put that on after? I think for the street, grass and sidewalk you need to decrease the sample size so it blends and looks a bit more realistic. Search the materials database links at the top of this forum and search for roadways, sidewalks and grass that say seamless or endless(cant remember the term). i think the model looks very nice by the way.! papagyi Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 You can render with photometric lights for night scene. You should work with spot lights, point lights and web lights for night scene. My idea for night scene, you should turn off sky environment. Quote
Noahma Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 keep your lightingunits to 1, change the time to a time that would normally be at night. You will have to crank up the intensity of your lights, but it should give you a more realistic scene. Quote
enthub Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 sumtimez.....adjustin lightning its pain in the a*$...but it worth it man...be patient...keep tryin..and u will have d'result tht u want... its a nice building enywyz... Quote

mehiar Posted October 10, 2008 Author Posted October 10, 2008 hey i'd like to post the night view render ,,, it worked with me when i copied the project and pasted it in a new file ,,, but i didn't fined another solution ah .. and it looks rainy ,, i think i should fix the street Quote
shift1313 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 very cool. is that portion of the building facing the intersection a mirror(second floor)? the picture in the reflection looks good. Where did you get the car from? i think if you fix the sample size for the street/sidewalk and maybe give the grass some "bump" you will be in good shape. Quote
