Hi, I'm looking for a lisp that will help me to to save the content of a layout to a DXF file. I'm working with Acad 2005. will you advise if there i any to download? THANKS!

One trick you can use is to output as WMF. These are vector formats and can be reinserted into AutoCAD. One caveat, scaling can change based on output.

Your message says 2005, but your profile says you have 2009. If you can use 2009, you can use the _.EXPORTLAYOUT command to export the layout to a DWG, then open the DWG and save it as a DXF. I imagine this could be scripted in lisp also.

 

If you are really stuck with 2005, then ToolPac includes a tool that can directly save one or more layouts to R12 DXF format.
