Cad Monkey 2 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I have a 3D model of a house complete with a complex roof structure that includes the hidden or "sleeper" roof slopes under fill areas. I'm really happy with the model, BUT, now I would like to do a regular roof plan that only shows the upper surface of the roof planes and it shows ALL of the roof lines. I would like to be able to show it in a plan view (from directly above) with a "hidden wireframe" visual style so that all of the roof lines underneath will be hidden. For some reason AutoCAD only wants me to do this in model views - when I am not in the Top view / dead center above the model. Is there any way to make this work? Quote
Noahma Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I don't think you can, but you might be able to use a solid hatch in plan view on the style to show this. Dots at a scale of 8 usually works with our plotters to show a light grey fill. Quote
