Turning off 3D modeling. (shift+pan)

I have put the Pan function on my middle mouse button. (If that wasnt already standard).

 

But every time I use shift to de-select and pan at the same time, it will rotate my 2D drawing in 3D.

Is there a way to turn that off? Without removing Pan from my middle mouse button.

I have turned off the View Cube, but that doesn't help.

 

I can ofcourse try to take my finger off the shift key when i Pan, but I automaticly do both commando's at the same time and it will be a pain to teach my self otherways. (or maybe im just to lazy:D)

Look in the CUI (type CUI at the commandline), there is a section there for Mouse Buttons - under Shift Click you should find Transparent Orbit, see if you remove that what happens.

It works! Tack!

 

Only, while holding the shift key, it doesn't allow me to pan at the same time anymore. But that does force me to let go of it.

And because im not swirled into a 3D rotation, it keeps anythning selected, selected.

Perhaps duplicate the command (PAN) that is on the middle button to the shift+middle button.

 

then again, its not half bad to get used to not use the Shift key while panning :wink:
