onzki Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Hi, I'm currently working on some projects with foreign fonts (Chinese), and everytime I open a CAD file, it prompts for a font substitute.. to which I was instructed in the office to use either chineseset.shx or hztxt.shx. I attached the screenshot. How can I assign in CAD to automatically substitute a font i want? In this case, the HZTXT.shx Thanks!! https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/sN-HaG32nCuASlTzDKuGvQ?feat=directlink Quote

onzki Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 Perhaps the FONTALT system variable is not set correctly Thanks, I will try. I remember it has something to do with BIGFONT. Quote
eldon Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 This system variable uses a default font file pair of txt.shx, bigfont.shx. So to specify only an alternative big font, you have to type the leading comma before the bigfont text file. Quote
