twistun
I create the drawings for the construction and installation of natural gas transmission lines. Angles are important in this field. I just did an inquiry about the angle of two intersecting lines and AutoCAD told me "the acute angle is 120 (d), and the obtuse angle is 240 (d)." By definition, both statements are wrong. I'm finding quite a few bugs in C3D 2012 and they're slowing down progress. I might go back to C3D 2011 and wait until a repair kit comes along. KJB
Same in C3D 2010. The acute angle is 126.2926 (d) The obtuse angle is 233.7074 (d) I don't really consider this a bug, just misuse of terminology.
BlackBox
It appears that C3D is simply assigning the "acute" label to the lesser of the two angles returned from the inquiry.
KJB
Exactly. I remember that in Land Desktop also.
