Temisan2009 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Am doing a rendering of an hotel.I have applied materials.but is not coming out real.what do u guy think of the model.what else can i do? Quote
Bill Tillman Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 To get a realistic looking rendering you will need to run it in a higher resolution mode and turn on the Sun & Sky or use a background. Can you tell us more about the rendering environment that you set this at? Quote
boxel0 Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Silly question but have you actually rendered this, or have you just gone to print ? Also like Bill said turn sun on, type in - background Quote
Tiger Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 The scale looks off.... is it just me or is that car awfully big? Quote
nocturne00 Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 you need to set your priorities when doing a rendering. the concentration should be the architecture of your building so try to set your angle so that you can see the entire building, your angle is a bit cut off at the roof. the supporting landscape elements are far from real so you may want to take them out of the render process. it would be better to use photoshop to put in those landscape greens, better yet, even the cars and people. render only the building, pavements, porte cochere. but as bill said toggle the resolution, sun, sky and your materials(acad has preset materials you can choose from) Below is a render done in 3dmax, but also achievable in acad. the image at the right is after post production(adding in the trees, reflections, etc. all done in photoshop) Cheers!
