dedken Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Hi guys, I wondered whether anyone might have a lisp that will enable me to select all text and rotate it to World UCS (or other specified UCS)?? Cheers in advance... Quote
fuccaro Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 It must be a Lisp? You can select all the texts and set they rotation angle from within the Properties window. Quote
dedken Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Thanks for the reply, Sorry I didn't specify clearly enough; What I'm looking for is to take multiple text samples which are not currently orientated in the same directions as each other and place them all in the same orientation.... to tidy up or so to speak... When I select all the text most of the Properties in the window disappear, so I'm unable to specify a rotation angle. Quote
eldon Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 When I select all the text most of the Properties in the window disappear, so I'm unable to specify a rotation angle. But the Rotation window is blank because the selected text are at various angles. If you select Rotation and enter 0, all the text will go to that rotation. Quote
dedken Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Ok I see what you mean. But it only works sometimes; other times I select all the text and the entire properties box with the variables in it disappears so I don't even get the option to change any of the properties. It's probably just me being dumb though! Quote
Attila The Gel Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 cmd: _.QSELECT Apply to: choose Object type: Choose Text or mtext propperties: ROTATION Operation: equals or other prefered value: example 90° ENTER OK now you can change all the text that are 90° rotated to any rotation you want in the properties. without changing texts that are not 90° rotated Quote
dedken Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Cheers, it was a combination of me being dumb and CAD not being totally intuitive! Quote
