PeteUK
Hi Im looking to plot a drawing at a scale of 1:1250 however the area of land shown in the drawing is wider than the size of an A0 piece of paper (1189x841mm). The drawing is 1300x841mm. We used an HP 1050C plotter so on the basis that the A0 drawing is plotted sideways off the roll, surely you can plot a wider drawing? If so, how do you do this as our settings just have sized and oversized standard page sizes, nothing to let you 'stretch' the width to 1300mm. Thanks for any help! eldon
Usually, when a printer with roll feed is selected as a plot device, in the plotter Configuration Editor is a section of User-defined Paper sizes and Calibration, and has a section for Custom Paper Sizes. Martini
by your printer/plotter area there should be a properties button, then when you open that there is a custom properties button, then some where on the next pop-up there should be a custom tab or button, change that to your size, and if you have to you can turn it to portrait, cause i haven't converted your mm to inches so im not sure how big that really is
