Doesn't look all that complicated. A few tubes and attach your shades and you're done.

What problems are you having?

Honestly I have no idea how to start. How to model the poles, etc. Im very new to autocad. So, please bear with me

A pole, whether vertical or horizontal, is just a circle that has been extruded using the EXTRUDE, SWEEP or PRESSPULL command.

You'll have to become familiar with reorienting your UCS to work effectively in 3D. One option is to enable the Dynamic UCS feature.

Have you checked out any of the 3D tutorials here at CADTutor?

We were all new to AutoCAD at one time or another. You'll survive just as we did.

ok. Thanks

I have checked some tutorials on youtube. One more question- how do you exactly select the line, the face? what command to use?

thanks again

How do you select what line? What aspect of your drawing are we talking about?

Maybe it's an optical illusion but the first image looks like it has framework that forms a peak on both sides ye, in the second image, the sail shade itself is flat. Please clarify. Thanks.

A quick approximation of a simple sail shade frame created using lines, circles and the Sweep command.
