global block

i have being away from autocad for a while now (job promotions...) and have forgotten some of the basic elements in cad.

my question is, what is the steps in creating a block from a current drawing to be used in other drawings, and store this block in a "library" where other blocks will be located ?

I use WBLOCK

 

Type W (for wblock)...select the objects, pick the base point, then save it to the desired location
