When doing an angle dimension and trying to put text under the dimension line, the text types out straight which if long enough will extend over the dimension line. Other then creating text with arctext, is there no other way to get it curved? I am using AutoCAD 2010.

It might help if you post an image. A JPG will do.

"Curved"... No, at least not without using a lisp to create the dimensions, but you can certainly align it with the dimension line. But the text shouldn't run over top of the extension lines unless you're forcing it to the inside, or manually placing the text.

DIMSTYLE > Text tab > Aligned with dimension line

Use \P to place text on separate rows (\X works for straddling the dim line).
