Hi, so i'm new to this forum. basically i'm trying to make a 1/10th scale version of a transfer case to use on a custom project i'm doing. i can make everything, except the indents on the end of the shaft used as a spot to tighten down the set screw for the drive dogs that come from the transmission and goes from the output shafts of the transfer case down the drivelines to the axles. I've tried making a keyway groove, but it's not what i need, as i need an entire flat indent on the end for it to work correctly. Thanks in Advance! Well, if your shaft is extruded then simply edit your sketch and trim.

If it is a revolved shaft then you can do an extrude cut... as such:

If you can't figure it out - zip and attach what you have completed so far.
