Hi there,

I am trying to position a cart that have 2 V-shape wheel on a angle bar.

I am using Mechanical desktop 6.

 

Sorry it seam that the picture don't want to upload.

 

What surface should use for making shure that the wheel are well sitted on the angle.

cad, whats the post limit before you can upload pictures? 10?

 

alex. I do not believe there are constraints in MDT 6. Once you draw your cart i believe you will have to manually move it into place. If you select the entire cart(wheels and all) and use the move command, it will move the entire cart, just use snap points to select a point on your wheel to a point on the track.

There is no limit for including images in posts. You can include images in your very first post, if you follow the directions in the link I posted. You just can't link to an image on another site until you have 10 posts.

I knew that the file was light enough but it was exceeding the length and width admissible.

I just had a dream! The solution!!!!

 

If it could help anyone.

 

I build(Draw) a jig for it. A dummy part that refer on flat surfaces on my cart and my angle bar. I put it invisible when not in use.

 

That way I am sure of the alignment.
