tcec2010 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Anyone know how to add a boarder to Mtext? rectangular with chamfer corners not sharp corners like background mask. Quote
irneb Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 All I can think of would be a block with multi-line attribute. You'll probably want to make it into a dynamic block to be able to stretch the border's width & height. If also needed you could place a wipeout or RGB:255,255,255 coloured solid hatch inside the border to get a background mask effect as well. As example see attached. Drawing3.dwg Quote
irneb Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Oh! Forgot to say: If you want to edit it the same way you'd have done with normal MText, hold down the Ctrl key and then double click. Quote
Tyke Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Have a look on Lee Macs website, he has some fancy LISP programs for doing useful things with text and mtext. Alternatively, Express Tools can place boxes around text and mtext. Quote
