tennis4you Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I use "Add: Pick Points" to hatch my elevations. The hatch does not seem to stretch when I need to stretch the elevations. Is there a way to make it stretch? Quote
lulumara Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I think you should click associate box on to the dialog box(hatch command) so when you stretch it it will go with it. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 set your "hpassoc" variable to 1 or click "associative" in the options section of the hatch dialog box Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 You can stretch the ones you already have with the grips too. Just click on the hatch itself to turn them on and you can drag the corners around, do all sorts if interesting stuff. Quote
irneb Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Though be careful to isolate only the linework you want to have as borders. When hatching with pick points all entities visible is actually selected to create the hatch. So if it's a very involved drawing and you edit one line, you sometimes get a message of "X thousand entities selected, are you sure you want to do this?" I prefer using the boundary command to create a polyline which I then hatch using Select (instead of pick-points), it's the only way to ensure the hatch doesn't become disassociated as well. Quote
