I just started at this drafting job and inherited most of the graphics from others. Version: AutoCAD LT 2010.

Some of the leaders on my drawing somehow changed so that the arrowheads do not show. When I began working on the drawing, the arrowheads were fine, but while I have been working on the drawing, all of a sudden these leaders changed this property.

The properties manager lists these problem leaders as "line with no arrow." Although there is a drop-down menu to choose things like "line with arrow," the "no arrow" option does not change when I pick anything else.

Any clues out there about what happened and what I can do for a global fix? Thanks!

(I've been on this forum before, but not for two or three years, under the name 'brassworks'. Been laid off a number of times, and until this contract job, haven't used AutoCAD for 9 months. Rusty!)

Arrow is too large to display per the leader length.

Try modifying the dimension style for a global change.

Wow! That was the problem. I didn't think of that, because the leaders that I have created don't have the same problem. But they have been created with a different scale.

In the interest of time for my client, I won't take the time to try to get all the leaders (mine and others) to have all of the same properties so that they are all scaled the same, but I'll keep this solution in mind for future drawings.

I didn't realize that if the scale is too large, the 'line with no arrow' automatically shows up. (Boy! This proves just how rusty I am!) Thanks a lot! As usual, I can rely on the pros in CADTutor forums to come up with the answers.

Another thing you can do is click on the leader to turn on the grips and drag the text and tagline farther away. The arrow will reappear when there is room for it

Sounds like you got it fixed, but it sounds like you have mleaders and the style name of that one is "line with no arrow", so changing the style to one with an arrow is the first part of the fix, and then adjusting scale or leader length to show the arrow.
