Fastdraft Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 We have a drawing and when in Model space you can see different layers that are different colors but when open paper space everything is white? Does anyone know the setting to change this so that everything is by layer in paper space? Quote
tzframpton Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Do you mean the Paperspace background is white, or all the objects are white? Quote
tzframpton Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 While in Paperspace, type PAGESETUP. The dialog box that pops up, under Plot Style Table, is the "Display Plot Styles" box checked? If so that's probably what's causing it. Quote
irneb Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Note though, this is usually used to show a plot preview, especially with lineweights turned on. Looks better with your PS background as white. Also allows copy-n-paste with lineweights into something like Word. Quote
BIGAL Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 For others one of the guys here thought it was smart to invoke the color by layout option in the layer manager I was pulling out my hair out till I discovered this option, in model space one color in layout another, plot uses layout settings. He was advised to not do it again. Our drawings are shared amongst the team so doing something confusing that know one knows about means lost time. Quote
